About Us

Cotton Tree Toys for Kids Organization is a Not-for-profit organization geared towards developing and inspiring values and attitudes of young children in Union, Balaclava, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, and neighboring communities. The organization is of the view that children from all genres of the society deserve happiness and the opportunity to realize their dreams and aspirations.

After carefully surveying the needs of the residents, the organization is cognizant of the dire economic conditions within the community which has affected the living conditions of a number of people in the lower socio-economic group. The underlying depravities exclude some families from adequately providing their children with toys especially during the Christmas season.

The organization was launched in 1996 and has enjoyed mentoring young minds in the community. An annual Christmas treat is hosted on December 25th that includes a major toy distribution. The objective of the treat is to garner greater levels of cohesiveness amongst adults and children.
